This is the story of a walk
On 17 June 2009 I shall take the first step of many (Confucius said something about it) on my journey from Land's End to John O'Groats. Something I've always had on my list of 'things to do', I decided to do it this year to mark my *ahem* birthday in August. I keep telling myself that I will do it. Many years ago, after my first London Marathon, someone told me that they knew I would do it because when I set my mind to something, that's it! Another friend once told me that most people could do an ultra if they wanted to because most of it's in the head. Let's hope so.
